Score Sheets & Playing Up

Score sheets must be filled out correctly each match, so it's important to know the correct way to complete each sheet. Refer to the guides below for the different type of sheets and the rules around who can play up.

8 Years

Score Sheets

  • Each 8 year old team receives their own score card, collected from the admin building before the start of each game

  • Each player must have their playing positions recorded for each quarter

  • Leave blank if the player is not playing

  • Each player must play a minimum of two positions in any one game, due to the modified rotation policy

  • Record the details of any players who are playing from another 8 year old team in the Fill in Players section

  • Scorecards must be returned to the window immediately after the end of the game

  • Penalties and fines are issued to clubs for incorrect or missing information on score sheets.

Playing Up

  • Players turning 8 within the calendar year are able to play up up to two age groups, i.e. up to the 10 year old divisions

  • If a player plays a 4th game up, they are automatically moved into that team for the remainder of the season
