Score Sheets & Playing Up
Score sheets must be filled out correctly each match, so it's important to know the correct way to complete each sheet. Refer to the guides below for the different type of sheets and the rules around who can play up.
8 Years
Score Sheets

Each 8 year old team receives their own score card, collected from the admin building before the start of each game

Each player must have their playing positions recorded for each quarter

Leave blank if the player is not playing

Each player must play a minimum of two positions in any one game, due to the modified rotation policy

Record the details of any players who are playing from another 8 year old team in the Fill in Players section

Scorecards must be returned to the window immediately after the end of the game

Penalties and fines are issued to clubs for incorrect or missing information on score sheets.
Playing Up

Players turning 8 within the calendar year are able to play up up to two age groups, i.e. up to the 10 year old divisions

Players cannot play below their age, i.e. 9 year olds cannot play in the 8s

If an 8s team requires extra players, they can only borrow other 8 year old players

Teams can only borrow up to two players at a time
-
Players can only play up a maximum of 3 times throughout the season, regardless of which team they play for.

If a player plays a 4th game up, they are automatically moved into that team for the remainder of the season
-
Penalties apply for playing illegal players or repeated infringements
9 Years

Players must be sighted by placing a tick in the signatures column

Any fill in players must be recorded, with their full name, grade and team name in the Fill in Players section

Scores are recorded by putting a line through each number when a goal is scored

Score sheets must be signed and returned to the window immediately after the game
Playing Up

9 year old teams can borrow players from across the age group or from an 8s team only

Junior players are restricted to playing up a maximum of 2 age groups, e.g. 10 year olds can play no higher than a 12 years team.

14 year old can play no higher than a Cadets team.

15 years and above may play Seniors.

Players cannot play below their age, e.g. a 10s player cannot play for a 9s team

Players cannot play below their division, e.g. a B1 player cannot play for a B4 or C1 team
